Ocarina of Time

When you start the game in Clock Town go to the Laundry Pool and get the fairy on the water. Then go to the Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town and give to the Great Fairy and she will give you Magic Power. Go back to North Clock Town and blow a bubble to blow the balloon. The bomber will say if you want to be a part in their club and say yes but you have to find them all by 6:00am the second day. Once you do that they will tell you their password to the laboratory. Go to the lab and it is located in East Clock Town next to the Mayor's Office. Go to the end and look through the telescope. Zoom in on the top of the clock tower and you will see Skull Kid. A moon's tear will drop to the ground. Go outside and collect the tear. Now go to South Clock Town and trade the tear to the Deku and he will give you the flower. Wait until midnight of the third day. Fly to the clock tower and inside you will find Skull Kid. Blow a bubble and he will drop the Ocarina of Time.

Hero's Bow -

When you have entered the Woodfall Temple go to the Second Floor, in the Second Room, and the door with bars on it and you will have to beat Lizofois to obtain the Hero's Bow. The simple way to beat him is to Z- Target him and jump slash him while he is resting.Use it to shoot enemies and switches from a distance. When aiming, the screen will be in Link's Persective, but when Z-Targeting the screen is at a certain angle and you will have a better chance hitting your target.

Magic Arrows

In the land of Termina there are three types of Magic Arrows. When you shoot them, magic will be consumed in units displayed as magic points. When you run out of magic the effect of the arrows will be lost. The magic arrows are as follows:

Fire Arrows

When you have entered Snowhead Temple go to the third floor, in the main room, and go to the North Door and fight Wizrobe. The way to beat him is to run around the room jump slash him where ever he comes up. If you succeed you will recieve the Fire Arrows. They melt ice or snowballs and kills a lot of enemies on the first go.

Ice Arrows

When you have entered the Great Bay Temple get a small key and go to the room where it has the red switch, and go to the door that needs a small key. Inside you can restock. Go to the North Door. Beat Wort and you will get the Ice Arrows. To beat him kill the balls around him and when his eye is free and open, shoot it. Do this a couple of times and he will fall to the ground. Then blow him up with a bomb. These arrows will make iceburgs in the water and freeze most enemies.

Light Arrows

When you enter the Stone Towers go to the room where the Garo Master lies. Defeat him and you will recieve the Light Arrows. The easy way to beat him is to Z-Target him and when he is having a rest, pounce!

Bombs

Lift the bombs in the air and then throw them or place them at your feet. They will explode after a few moments relising enough power to knock down cracked walls or defeat powerful enemies. Find these explosives in pots, crates or buy them in shops.

Bombachu

Use these very much like bombs but slide a long way but explode when they hit an obstacle, or if time runs out. You can only find them in chests in special chests as they are rare.

Deku Sticks

These wooden sticks are longer than your standard sword but break easily and can be put on fire like a torch or used to hit enemies. They can be found in pots, etc.

Deku Nuts

When Deku flying you can drop them creating a blinding flash, paralising enemies. Although, they don't work on all enemies. They can be found by killing Deku Babas or destroying pots.

Magic Beans

You plant them in soft soil and water them to make them turn into hovering plants. They can be bought for ten rupees from the man in the Deku palace.

Powder Keg

This is the most powerful bomb in the game and can be bought for 50 rupees from the Goron in the Bomb Shop, but you have to go to Snowhead and talk to the Giant Goron and explode a keg at the Goron Racetrack, and then you will recieve a licence to use the explosives.

Pictogragh Box

Go to Southern Swamp and go to the Forest. Talk to the hag that is sick and give her a red potion, and she will give you a free boat pass. Go to the Boat Cruise Shop and talk to her and she will give you the Pictograph Box. You can take pictures with it and sell them, too.

Lens of Truth

Go to the Goron Village and a giant owl will be there. He will drop feathers in the air and you have to jump onto them. There will be a cave at the end and in there will be a chest. Open the chest and you will get the Lens of Truth. This will enable you to see invisible things or hideouts but consumes magic power.

Hookshot

Go to the Pirates Fortress and put the Stone Mask on and you should hop onto one boat and go into the water. When no one is looking, put the Zora Mask on. Dive into the hole and go to the end. Go to the jailroom and shoot the beehive and the pirates will go out. Go into that room and open the chest. You will recieve the Hookshot. This item has an expanding and reacting chain with a hook on the end that can grab onto certain objects, pulling you to them as the chain reacts. When you aim a red dot will indicates the hook's range. It can also be used as a weapon.

Empty Bottles

You can find six in the game and they are located in:

When you go to the Southern Swamp, enter the Forests of Mystery and the old hag has lost all her power so go to the other hag and she will give you a bottle with red potion in it.

When you defeat Goht get a Powder Keg and blow up the rock in the entrance of the Goron Racetrack, and there defeat the other Gorons and recieve a bottle with Gold Dust in it.

Blow the boulder up near Romanio Farm. Wait there until 2:30 and aliens will invade the stable so back them off until 5:30 and the little girl will give you a bottle.

Give the Express Mail, from Kafai to Madam Aroma on the third night in the Milk Bar and she will give you a bottle.

Go to Great Bay and go to the Waterfall. Hookshot the trees and a cave will be at the top. Beat the two beavers and they will give you a bottle.

On the Final Night, in the Graveyard, go into the grave and help the old man dig and he will reach a huge man and defeat him and you will recieve a bottle.

You can fill them with bugs, water, potions, etc.

Razor Sword

Once you have defeated Goht, go and forge it in the Mountain Smithery for 100 rupees. This is fourth best sword in the game, but you have 100 hits before it goes back to normal.This is the first up-graded sword in the game.

Gilded Sword

Once you have defeated Goht, go to the Goron Racetrack and get the Gold Dust. Then go to the Mountain Smithery when you have the Razor Sword and forge it with Gold Dust.The third best sword in the game, but the best B Button Sword for Young Link and it is permanent. This is the second up-graded sword, too.

Great Fairy Sword

Go to the Stone Towers and collect all the fairies there. The best sword in the game for Young Link, and it is a c Button sword so you can keep your Gilded Sword!

Mirror Shield

i. Go to Ikhana Valley and in the well but before you go to the well you will need a few things first: ii. Get 5 Magic Beans from the Akido Nut in Southern Swamp, and a Blue Potion from an Akido Nut in Ikana Canyon. iii. You will need the Empty Bottles so keep them empty. iv. Go to the top of Ikana Canyon until you see the hole in the ground. This is the Well and a long cave, but with few enemies. f. Bottom of the Well "=" i. The well is a long map with cubes off into each room. Each Gibdo will ask you for something it wants, it will tell you what it is he wants. If you give it to him he will open the door. ii. This will be hard to type out so please try to have patience. iii. In the first room go up and give the Gibdo the Blue Potion. Talk to him first then give it to him in C. iv. Go through the door and go to the left alcove. Take the Fish and then some Spring Water. 1. You will need another fish soon, so just exit through the door and re enter to get a second fish. v. Go back to the main hall and go north into the spike rollers. You can turn into Deku Link and fly over them if you want. vi. Ignore the left door in this area for now and give the Spring Water to the Gibdo in the North door. vii. Go to the West Alcove and pick up 3 bottles of Bugs. The go to the East one to get some Bombs. viii. Go through the spike rollers again and go north. Both the top and right Gibdos need Bugs. The North one has Fairies, but they are not needed here. ix. The East one needs Bugs too, but they lead to a hidden chest with 50 Rupees. You need the Lens of Truth. 1. Watch out there is a Floor Master here and there are several more in other rooms. x. Now go back all of the way to the entrance. You have skipped one Gibdo along the way that wants a Fish, but we will return here later. xi. Now go East and give the second Gibdo near the entrance. He is looking for some Magic Beans. Give them to him and he will die away and open the door. xii. This room has an alcove that you can ignore, but keep moving until you take a corner going up. xiii. To the top is a Gibdo looking for some Fish. Give him the second Fish you caught and he will open the door. xiv. This hallway is a little longer than most, but to the East is an alcove that has some Deku Nuts. Fight the Deku Babas to get them. You will need 10 of them; they will grow back after you kill them so take your time. xv. A little North there is another Gibdo who wants the 3rd bottle of Bugs I told you to get. Give them to him and inside is a chest with 50 Rupees.

xvi. The North door Gibdo wants a Big Poe, since you do not have one we will need to backtrack. xvii. Go back through the entrance of this room. You should be in the room where you gave up the second Fish. xviii. Go to the side East and that Gibdo wants the Deku Nuts. Give them to him. xix. In this next room is a Gibdo on the East side that wants Hot Spring Water. We will get this in a second, but first go North. xx. Around the corner is another Gibdo that wants 10 Bombs. Give them to him and enter the room. xxi. This room has a Big Poe. Simply kill it and take the spirit in a Jar. xxii. Do not give this Poe up yet. We need to go back to get the Hot Spring Water for the other Gibdo.

xxiii. Here is the quick path from that Gibdo: 1. West, West, North, East. a. Give the Fish to open the door. xxiv. Take the Hot Spring Water and go back to the previous Gibdo. 1. East, North, West, West. xxv. Give him the Hot Spring Water, while hot, and he will open the door for the Cow. xxvi. Play Epona's Song to the Cow and she will give up her Milk. xxvii. Go back to the previous room and go North. Give the Gibdo the Big Poe. xxviii. Go into this room and pass the spike rollers again. Go to the North and give this final Gibdo the Milk. xxix. This room has a chest, Sun Switch, and Sun Block. First open the chest to get the Mirror Shield.

This is the only shield up-grade in the game so it is the best shield. It can also reflect light to dissolve sun blocks and provides excellent protection.
